The pages are fairly straightforward, with the accordion tabs allowing me to post a lot of information without visual clutter.
Home: I've streamlined my home page. It no longer has the moving parts that the former one did. Hopefully that will allow for speedy loading and easy reading.
Bio: Here's where you'll first encounter the use of the accordion tabs. What would have been in three dropdown pages is neatly contained in a small accordion.
Blog: The formatting of the old blog posts didn't transfer well. When time permits, I may reformat them. We shall see.
Interviews: Over the years, I've done a surprising number of blog interviews, of a surprising range of people. Scroll through the links. You'll likely find someone you'd like to read about.
Newsletter: There's a subscription button for my newsletter on this page. I'm still pondering how best to share past issues.
Editing: Everything related to my freelance editing business, Flubs2Fixes, is now on one page. I hope that makes it easier for potential clients to find the information they need.
Editing Contact Form: This new form will, I hope, make it easier for potential clients to contact me and include the information I need.
Writing Resources and Recommendations: I suspect this page will grow as I find more and more to recommend.
Privacy, Cookies, and Copyright: These are policies that are important to have, but again, I've made use of the accordion system to make the page look tidy.
Contact: This is separate from the editing contact form, and is for anyone else who needs to contact me, for example, to request permission to use one of my hymn texts.
Have fun looking around the newly renovated pages!
Note: there was a paragraph explaining that there weren’t dropdowns in the menu anymore, because I have streamlined pages by using accordions to allow me to post all the info I needed and still keep it neat and tidy. It went on to say that the mini-accordion (which had 3 tabs, not 2) was intended as an illustration of how I’ve done things in the pages. That paragraph, and the third accordion tab, disappeared when I published the post. Oh well.
Eureka! I have figured it out. The things that didn’t post included emojis. Apparently it didn’t like me putting in emojis from my keyboard.
